GREENSBURG, Ind. — No serious injuries are being reported after a fiery crash that involved a tractor-trailer veering off an Indiana interstate and briefly going airborne before bursting into flames.

Video of the crash shows the red, flatbed truck speeding into a median near an exit ramp and hitting a hill, then a sudden explosion of fire and black smoke.

Indiana State Police say the driver, 30-year-old Ryan Young of Owenton, Ky., suffered minor facial and head injuries, while his 7-year-old son sustained scratches.

Young told police he was heading east on Interstate 74 near Greensburg early Thursday afternoon when he swerved to avoid a vehicle drifting into his lane.

State Police Sgt. Noel Houze says the truck's fuel ignited after its tanks were torn when it struck a guardrail.

Some stopped to help but some stopped in the middle lane and could have caused another accident.
