I just finished installing a intake manifold heat shield from Pace Performance. Installation is simple. With the intake manifold removed and cleaned, the shield adheres to the bottom.

I did the same thing when I installed my cam, put a heat shield under the manifold. I notched out where each bolt head stuck up from the valley cover, but I probably didnt need to haha

Coils and wires are totally unnecessary, unless there's an issue with the ones you already have. That BBK 95mm TB has been shown to be hit or miss on drive ability. More on the miss side. YMMV though.
