Build Opinions?

As title suggests I’d love some feedback on build I’m planning on starting and getting all work done at once. I’m still confused on e85 I don’t want to spend 3-4K on injectors what are my alternatives? What would you add/remove/change?

Thanks for input!

Switch the E85 for Meth if you want to save some coin. Only alternative is running a mix of E. Or you can run solely on 93 pump gas but expect 50 RWHP less at these levels.

Solid build list.

You shouldn't need the PCM unlock with those mods.

So the only way to run pump E85 from local gas station is to get the new injectors? I was really wanting to run it but mixing fuels at the pump is a major pain.

If he doesnt unlock PCM with HPtuners, will my tuner be able to tune the vehicle?

Which Meth Setup would you recommend?

I'd run 2" ARH over Kooks on a ZL1, better fittment. Maybe an ATI pulley and balancer over an IW.

No experience with TSP, but ARH and Kooks are of a very high build quality, well designed merge collectors and are not prone to leak. I have the 2 inch ARH and the fit is perfect.

Yeah there's no way you're running full E85 on stock injectors. I'm not even sure if you'll be able to without a full fuel system, that's up to the experts.

I also concur that ARH has the best fitment on the ZL1. Don't run high flow cats or stock cats, they'll quickly melt/burn down/clog your exhaust/melt your sensors/damage your engine/cost you a new exhaust and other issues. Just accept the full race car mode and run cat-less. If you go with ARH, you want the long system that goes all the way back to the suitcase. This does two things. 1) It ditches the factory X pipe, secondary cats, and crushed rear section. 2) If you don't like the sound of the NPP + Headers which some don't, you can switch to a Corsa or Borla axle back with ease.

As for Meth setups, I haven't researched them too much so that's up to you. I'm sure that Snow Performance and Alky Control are the most common. Make sure your tuner is capable of properly scaling Methanol setups and not just adding it as an afterthought like a lot of cheap tuners do.

On the subject of tuning, you want a complete Dyno and Street tune. This will yield max power, max safety, and max drivability. Don't just settle for the one hit wonder dyno pull or 2 and call it a day.

I have ARH 2" long system no cats connected to NPP, I like the sound, no drone at all in the highway, and if you set the exhaust in touring mode it is almost OEM, but when you push it ..OMG...I add lower pulley 9.17, roto fab, spark plugs and Tony Mamo TB on 93 641 whp (mustang dyno)...it was day and night compared to Oem...

Awesome thanks for all of the knowledge! What do you think about Lower pulley Size? For now I think I’m going with 2”TSP headers catless connection pipes to MBRP cat back, Roto Fab, Lower Pulley, ATI Super Damper, Gates Belt, Tune. I don’t think I want to mess with any fuel stuff for now.

Also I’m interested in running meth but mechanic is acting as if he doesn’t reccomend it. That’s just the vibe I’m getting from him because he avoids the topic every time it comes up.

Anything else I Need to do while I’m at it? Cam/valvetrain?

Thanks!

Why did you go with 9.17 vs 9.55 lower pulley? Is 9.55 too aggressive? Also I’m going with 2” headers you made my mind. No cats. Also I’m running NGK plugs as well. Possibly TB also.
