my tire valve stems are on the outside of the rim. My Brembo calipers are on the inside of the rim. What sort of clearance problems are you talking about?

What wheels are you running? Some aftermarket wheels, like MRR Z28 20x10 +23, position the stem where the reg/long stem hits the over-sized brembo calipers. These short stems prevent that issue from happening, plus the set up looks much tighter- or should I say less goofy.

Those who have had the stem hitting the caliper know exactly that $24 is nothing compared to the pain and wastage of time that follows this problem.

Will I need the shorty valve stems for my 20x10 +35et (front) and 20x11 +43 (rear) MMR M228 application? You mentioned that the 20x10 +23et (front) did need them; does this apply to my 20x10 +35et on my 2011 Camaro SS as well?

Thanks

Only 20x10 +23 requires the shorty

Wow!!! REALLY!?! You're really going to mark these up and sell them for EXACTLY 76.5 percent more? Vendors are selling them for $1.41 each and STILL making a profit?

Valve stems

The 930-20010 valve stem kit for tpms will not work on the mrr 228 wheels.
Just spent two hours at discount tire and they won’t come thru the wheels.
They are too fat to go through.

I just installed mine and it has the stock stem. I asked the guys who installed it to request the short stems but it looks like they didn’t?

It clears the roller blades though by roughly 0.20”. Is there a risk of it hitting even though it clears? In what event would the wheels, brakes, and calipers move off from each other? Aren’t they all moving together so if it clears once it should clear all the time?
