Z28 MPG better than ZL1
The Z28 is getting 17mpg. The best the ZL1 would get was 13. The sticker says the z28 should get less?? One other thing the Z28 does not have the low end like the ZL1. If you look at the HP graff the two cars are opposite.

Cross-country I got 18.5 mpg. That was with me constantly varying the speed and revs, which couldn't be much help for economy.
I agree with what you're saying about torque, but I sure do LOVE the way the Z/28 pulls from 3,500 rpm to redline. The sound is also pretty spectacular; can't wait to get it on track!

I average 16 normal daily driving, I can do 19 if I am careful and can do 22 freeway with a 75 mph cruise speed...not that any of that matters...its a 580hp supercar, wasn't expecting good gas mileage, but glad its reasonable.

Not that I care about gas milage... but I average 15.5 daily driving to work and back with a BIG lead foot. Your in the wrong group of car buyers if your worried about gas milage........

Why are we now concerned about fuel milage?

I am not, it is that the sticker is opposite of each other on mileage and the HP seems opposite also.

I'm at ~1100 now and will get to the magic number next week. Then I'm going to hit Great Lakes Dragaway and 1/4 mile race it for the rest of the summer. Future plan is to join a club so I can track it at Road America but I don't think I can financially swing it until next year.
