Cam damaged enough to replace?

I think the cam is scored. Can I get opinions on whether it needs replaced based on pics of the cam lobe?

It appears to be scored on the lobe, looks good on the base circle. Do cams normally develop this kind of scoring over time?

Yeah... that's not good. If you don't replace the cam it will wreck your lifter. Time for a new cam...

Thank you all for the quick replies. I was hoping maybe, just maybe that was normal.

I'll get me a new cam.

Yep, that one is trashed for shore!!! The pistons can be cleaned up, but carefully so nothing gets down around the rings..

Is it just me or does it look like a valve may have kissed the piston?

Yep on this piston. I just included it because I assumed someone would ask how my piston looked for that hole.

Thank you all for taking the time to read and comment. New parts supposed to arrive tomorrow. Fingers crossed they don't get delayed until next week.
