Key fob

So ive noticed lately my keyfob will "lock the doors" and then on the 2nd press to arm the system (resulting in the honking of the horn) seems to be delaying itsself. Sometimes making the car not respond to the fob for 10-15 seconds after the first press.

Steps i have tried:

-Resetting the car by disconnecting the battery for 3+ hours( battery is really new as well)
-Replacing the keyfob battery with a brand new one tested on a multimeter
-Changing to the spare fob and trying again.

Nothing seems to restore the response to the fob presses. Very confused.

Since you replaced the battery recently, perhaps your settings have reverted to defaults, including "delayed door lock". You can turn this off in "personalization settings".

Explore the Owners Manual.

Dome LED bulbs are causing all kinds of problems.

The Homelink on my truck won't work unless the front of the truck is facing the garage door.

Of course, GM blames it on Homelink and Homelink blames it on GM.
