Latest mod was having a front blackout installed - really pleased with how it came out:

Modern07 - 2013 Summit White ZL1

Got a couple more pictures of my front blackout whilst at a show this weekend - I wanted to do the vinyl to see if I liked the look before getting it painted on - I like it though so will be arranging for it to be painted soon

Noticed a couple of sizable door dings on the passenger door though which I'll need to take care of :/ Hopefully paintless dent repair can sort it

A photo I took today - first time she's been to work with me for a couple of months - well it was valentines day after all...

So, yesterday whilst at the FSP Dyno Day I planned out the next stage of my build with Matt - car will be going back in the middle of March for the following goodies:

FSP Custom Grind Comp Camshaft
Hardened Chromemoly Pushrod Set
BTR Dual Valvespring Kit .650" Lift (Titanium Retainers, Viton Valve Seals, Steel Spring Seats)
GM Gasket Kit (Front Timing Cover Seal/Gasket, Waterpump Gasket, Balancer Bolt)
Melling Select Oil Pump 10296
C5R Timing Chain
ECS Fuel Pump Voltage Booster w/ Hobbs Switch Kit
BMR Rear Trailing Arms, Polyurethane Bushings
BMR Bushing Kit for Rear Trailing Arms
BMR Rear Toe Rods, Non-Adjustable, Polyurethane Bushings
Pfadt ZL Spec Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit

Can't wait!

Car looks really great! Where did you get the blackout piece for the front bumper?

I love the new front black out… really gives the front of the car a new look! Can't wait to see what the car does after the new performance mods!

Thanks

I got the front blackout from a vendor on eBay however I am on my phone at the moment away from home so don't have the link - as soon as I get back I'll post the link for you.

Thank You

I'm really pleased with how it came out and I was surprised how much it changes the look of the car - very easy mod with a big impact and wish I'd done it sooner!

As for the mods - I can't wait but I'm sure my neighbors will be less than thrilled

I've also ordered a line lock and some Mickey Thompson drag radials so it's time to see what this car can really do - hoping to have one of the quickest manuals with LSA but it may need the driver mod before that happens haha!

Mod list looks familiar... can't wait to see it all together.

Are you putting the Mickeys on your 20" stock wheels or something else.

Thanks, and likewise with yours

As for the MT's - the ones I've ordered for now are the 20" to go on my stock wheels, however that is only until I can find a set of replica Z06 fronts and then I'll move to the 18s for track and keep the OEM tires for regular use - I'm just having a real hard time finding the 40 offset anywhere, but I'll keep looking until I do.
