2013 1LE at LG Motorsports today for 50 more HP!

Our first 2013 1LE Camaro rolled into the shop yesterday for a bit more HP and weight reduction.

To start off with we did the LG Velocity Cold Air induction kit, added by the GM catch can. Exhaust was handled by our full Super Pro Exhaust kit with full 3" mufflers.

Ended the day gaining over 50 hp at the rear tires and dropping 47lbs of weight!

Not to shabby for 1/2 a days work!

Thanks again Andy!!

Thank you Anthony! The car pulls like a train and sounds amazing now. Definitely a big improvement.

Question for LG Motorsports. Why use the factory catch can versus an aftermarket catch can, any benefits, gains, or just preferences ?

I saw this Wednesday on FB. Very nice!

FYI on FB the picture says baseline was 377, looks like someone put torque in place of the HP.

Got a question for you guys!

My dad (Mike Greenberg) was at your shop recently with his new ZL1 and he told me to ask you guys about a tune. I recently got long tube headers and was wondering about the LG Motorsports intake in addition to that.

Thanks!

Would you expect similar results on the strip to this car you did?
I'd love to watch if you take that 1le to the track!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a 50rwhp increase with just an intake and new exhaust a really good result? I thought CAIs were typically in the 10-15hp range as well as the exhaust. Was it tuned?

50whp is about typical on the LS motors with an intake, LT headers and a tune. These motors love to breath and come with restrictions from the factory. Open up the airways and you get nice gains.

Off topic question for you. Lol.

What rear spoiler do you have? Is it just a flat black zl1 spoiler?

It's indeed a factory ZL1 spoiler, unpainted, with the taillight removed and several coats of plasti-dip -
