Anybody have a black camaro with the tailight bezels blacked out? id love it if you uploaded some pics so i can decide if i wanna go through with it!

Love mine! The chrome just doesn't work for me. Anyway, I was able to pop mine out by getting inside to the lights from the trunk and releasing the upper tabs, then the sides and finally the bottom. They just popped right out and of course they go back in simply by putting into place and pushing.

How did you guys end up painting the bezels? I have been looking into doing this for a couple of months but haven't figured out the best way to go actually go about painting the bezels.

3M pad and rough 'em up a little, just to knock off the sheen, shoot with some Bulldog paint adhesion promoter and then your color of choice, a few light coats to cover, allowing to dry in between coats.

sanded with 40 grit until the chrome ismore of a gray color... sprayed with a light coat of plastic adhesion promoter. a couple coats of flat black, and then a couple coats of semi-gloss clear...

i will take some pictures at lunch...

BTW OP what color is your car? there are a lot of cars on here with painted pieces i am sure you can find one of the same color...
