Based on this thread, I called my dealer, they've ordered a window sticker for me. I had talked to Al Openhieser FBodfather...cheif camaro engineer. He's retired now, but he told me any of us should be able to get a sucker reprint from the original dealership that sold the car. I called Shottenkirk, who sold my car originally; and the sales manager ordered me one.

Here are the options on mine, includes 50-state emission which seems odd.

Funny,
For only (supposedly) having a radio and AC for options, seems like there are several more just in this thread according to window stickers....
Floor mats
"Rear spoiler"
50 state emissions

Anything else I'm missing??

Ditto....called the dealer that sold me the car and they ordered me a new one. Hopeful that works and that it shows up!

I actually got two window stickers when I picked up my car. The one I posted previously with emission option was actually on the car from the factory. The second one the dealer had and in looking now it only has gas guzzler tax at 1,700 and ac/speaker at 1,150. Glad to have them both at this point I guess.

How to copy and print a COA for owners who bought their Z/28 as a second owner.

There are some of us who bought the car as the second owner, with low miles. In my case 318 miles. Can someone graciously scan their COA from Chevrolet in a high dpi scan format; or better trust a fellow member with some high end scanning equipment (me), and send it to me via UPS..I'll pick up the bill both ways with $100 insurance on the card.

Once I have one, I'll do the scan to create a perfect COA which can be re-printed with the new owners name for our scrap books on the car..I'm keeping a 3 ring notebook on everything I do to the car maintenance wise.

Anyway, with a high DPI scan, I'll use photoshop to fix any digital errors in the pixels, and then we can reprint the COA using an Indigo press - which prints it with hot-melt inks and will give a perfect reproduction at 1200 DPI; giving anyone who owns a Z-28 as a second owner, a COA just like the original owners got from Chevrolet Performance. The Indigo press is actually as good as the process Chevy uses, and might even look nicer.

Is there anyone out there willing to help on that project; as I'm sure once we can make them folks will want one if they bought the car as the second owner. The cost will have to be determined, since you have to contract the print from a print shop running an HP Indigo press. The COA from the original owners could be copied too; giving them a copy (or two) that they could display w/o fear of damaging their OEM certificate.

Alternately I'd pay someone to call Chevrolet, and ask for a replacement COA..opps the dog ate my homework...etc etc... so I could have one to work with...PM me if anyone is game - that's an easy $25+ plus the cost to get Chevy to re-print one.

Larry

It was like pulling teeth to get the certificate from GM as an early 2014 original owner as they didn't actually start producing them until the 2015 model year cars were out. Based on my experience, I would be very surprised if anyone could get a replacement from them. The packet contains several pieces and if you shoot me a pm with your e-mail I can send photos so you can see the set. I would then be willing to get scans done at DigiCopy for you.

Just left Stacy from Chevy a message about the COA. I had left her a message right after I purchased the car. Has anyone actually spoken to Stacy?

If you can pull a car fax it should show it on there. No info when you purchased the car?
