Z/28 oem wheels

Tire shop messed up my rear wheels on the 2nd day I had the car. Looking for a set of rear wheels. My dealer says they can't get them. Anyone selling any or know where I can find a set?

How bad are they messed up?? They can't be repaired?

Check with Abel Chevrolet - I would imagine they'd be able to get them.

I feel your pain, the same thing happened to me two years ago. Local tire shop substantially damaged all four wheels after promising they could change the tires without issue. They ended up having to buy me four new wheels. Unless a shop has a touchless tire machine, I will not let them near my car.

Our wheels are black. Shouldn't be that hard to not screw them up and or to fix them.

If you have to get 4 new ones, make sure they are real wheels like forgelines. Dont take some American Racing junk.

The damage was actually only on the inboard side of the wheels. They were rubbing the struts. The car didn't want to move but the morons kept giving it throttle it until it moved shaving some metal off the back of the wheels and the struts. I will be tracking the car so having repaired wheels doesnt sound ideal for me. It was a good solid 1/16 of an inch of aluminum shaved off the whole diameter of the wheels lip. I'm having the struts pulled as well to check for a bent strut shaft. when the suspension was under load the cambered wheel was putting side load on the strut. Brand new car and already having to pull it apart :/

Haha that's exactly what they did. This was after I told them that while the tire are not staggered the wheels are different widths and offsets. They said "don't worry we do this all the time"...

Why can't the dealer get them? Discontinued?
