My nights after work devoted to the lighting and every day a different issue.

Now my fogs pulse after turn signal active ( car running )

Really frustrating.

Harnesses not working but I got a local guy who may dig into it more with me.

How did you wire up your drl's (fog lights)? Are you using the stock 5gen fog light harness or did you only tap it the side markers? Because if you are not using the fog light harness..it will causes of pulsating under a load. I got to say you're bumper looks amazing!

I am using the stock gm harness.
Also crossing fingers here but just before returning to stock I got the eyebrows working. ( Nighttime ) today I'll have to test daytime. After work can't come soon enough.

So for the eyebrows . You could just tap into the side markers .. and for the DRLs I had the aftermarket gen5diy fog light harness not the stock one .don't know that helps any confusion.

Nothing on mine is t-tapped. Everything is done through harnesses. ( In relation to zl1 6th gen bumper )

I also have that drl harness in place.

Harness 1 converts 2011 headlight to 2014 via Jarod
Harness 2 converts 2011 indicators to 2014 via Jarod
Harness 3 Drl Harness via Jarod
Harness 4 Converts 2014 non RS to RS ( xenon adapter) via Vland ( seems like the vland headlights were initiall for non rs )

I am running Morimoto D2H bulbs with Morimoto XB ballasts and ignitors. 5500k

They ever nice

Also when I bought my 2014 15/6 style headlights it actually came with two additional mini adapter harnesses..so I did not have to t tap ..only thing I had to tap was the switch back for the DRL turn signals.and also my car was originally a 2014 non RS.

Also I did my wiring for my OEM 6th gen illuminating bow tie to the side markers.

I want the glowtie only I want it to be red.

That harness you speak of is number 4 in my list. On your car its not needed.

I opted for switchbacks too.

I still have some work ahead of me before it goes back to my painter on Monday.

The top grille broke but not noticeable ( part of the reason Im upset with Ikon ) and I can't get the inserts seated correctly everywhere. These are all minor cause you really need to look for it but I notice it. One has a small lip it pushed out.

I also need to transfer the transferable trim parts side markers and black upper trim that is seated with plastic rivets.

I have a plan for a DIY belly pan I'll post up once I get to it.

Do you or anyone know or have an idea if the 14-15 Z28 upper grill would fit in this bumper or would that look odd? I’m just thinking it might match up on headlights and fit better.

I was look at that as an option. Its very similar and Ikon makes one lol.

I have one installed and wanted to keep the flow tie. Plus I thought if it fit then it might fit the headlights better, without the gap. I really wish ikon would step up this kit a bit. I’ve heard too many negatives to deal with to waste my time, yet. I’m a big fan of the 6th gen style on 5th gen body. That was the one thing( front bumper) other than zl1 that lacked what I liked from the 1st gen appeal. I miss my ‘69 and ‘70 1/2.

The 14 and 15 Z28 grill will not work on that new bumper.. but I was able to take a 2010 bowtie emblem in make it work. just needed to make some brackets for the back
