You're going to love it!

Just check if they're summer tires before you mash the skinny pedal.

I got a 2012 ZL1 coup and a 2014 ZL1 vert both with manual transmissions. They drive similar. The 200 pound difference is unnoticeable. Since they are over 10 seconds both the drag strips in the Indy area let me drive them there. I drove them both stock and modified. The vert now has a Lingenfelter 700+ HP package. It has been retuned by Mike Norris to 644 WHP and there is no 155 MPH limit any more. It does the 1/4 mile in 11.4 with slicks and 11.8 with drag radials. I generally leave traction control on when on the street and turn it off by holding the button 7 seconds when at the strip for both cars. I don’t use any of the 5 settings in the coupe. I always turn traction control completely off when racing it. I tried the no lift feature and it is actually a little slower.

Did they happen to have the stock ZL1 wheels? IMHO, it's a shame someone swapped them for the knockoff Z/28 wheels.

Enjoy the ride.

Not sure on the wheels. They didn’t say anything about them. I am actually picking the car up in a few hours I will ask.

It's a lightly modded car, I doubt they have the original wheels. I would be more interested in knowing what mods you can't see and how the car was driven and maintained.

They ended up giving me the services records. All service done at a Chevy dealership. Also the intake, headers, and cat back where installed at the same dealership. I have an appointment with speed inc to throw it on the dyno and check the air fuel ratio. If it is safe I will enjoy it the summer and at the end of summer add a pulley and a tune. If it is not safe I will have it tuned now. Until the appointment I am going to keep it out of boost

Nice looking ride... Don't forget, if not already, to become a local member of the Camaro club http://www.chicago5thgen.com/index.php.
