I'm a v8 guy too, but a lot of the things I'm going to suggest would apply to any engine.

UV dye in the coolant, UV light to pinpoint the "Exact location of leak"
Pressure test the system to find the leak.

Once you know the location of the leak, inspection of all sealing surfaces with a straight edge. No nicks or scratches on sealing surfaces

If it's an o-ring, be sure it is of proper dimension, and there is no cracks or nicks in the bore it goes into..

Yeah, without knowing some details about what part of the housing is actually leaking, it's hard to help. That housing is a pretty complicated piece with multiple leak points. That said, a competent mechanic shouldn't have a problem.

Thank you for the helpful response. Issue is it under warranty and at this point I'm gonna give up the ghost and pay for it myself and just do it
