Mustang Bullitt
The Mustang Bullitt.
how do you feel about this car? Ford has really done a good thing with this car IMO. No Chrome... no gaudy fake scoops, or pathetic spoilers. With the Highland Green paint job and custom 'bullitt' interior, i think this car is the best mustang Ford has produced since the 60's. They didnt try too hard, and everything they did was effective. rims, exhaust, intake, suspension, weight reduction, upgraded seats, steering, custom shiftknob, custom interior, custom color, and knowing that your car will never depriciate in value because of how rare it is. id pay for it.
If there was no such thing as, 'Camaro' |

I love it and if I had the money right now and if there was no new Camaro I'd buy it.

The original Bullitt was a Shelby GT350. I dont know why the new one isn't. Other than that I love it!

It's a good looking car, but if they were to truly honor Bullitt they should've put a bigger engine in it.

I like the idea, but like so many things automotive, I don't like how it was executed. I'm not a fan of fake scoops but I can understand cost issues and crash protection and whatnot. The price of some of these packages is pretty outrageous, IMO, however, if you want something unique, you have to pay for it. I think it looks like a nice car and to each his own.

so you figure a 2k package on a 28k car, so 30k... factor in how much time, effort, labor costs ect. it would take for you to do it individualy.... factor in the lack of depriciation... and it sounds like its not so bad if you can get one for 30k. That is, before the Camaro of course |

I loved the '01 Bullitt, that car was bad-ass and i think the '08-09 Bullitt is the best example of the '05-09 Generation, including the GT500. If i got one,i would get a black one, because Mcqueen always customized his cars,so to be different from the herd of DHG,black would be the way to go. Of course,Mcqueen probably wouldn't have a copy of a specific car that was made famous and cool by someone else,so if you had any hang-ups over such things, the Shelby GT is the car for you,it's basically the same car as the Bullitt. |
