Well I will tell you this for a fact. 17 inch 325 M&H racemasters will dead hook from a 60-65MPH roll on my fat assed 2010 Camaro with 1000RWHP and we out run ALOT of cars that have more HP than I do.

There are a couple of reasons for this. One I dont recall EVER being out punched from a 60-65 MPH in third gear. In a 1500 foot roll race, if you can pull 2-3 car lengths from the punch it is VERY difficult to catch up to that even if you have more peak power. Two, my particular combination makes peak power over a 1300 PRM range from 6400 to 7700 RPM. Three the car gets to that power bang VERY quickly and pushes enough air that the power DOESNT drop off as you reach redline. This has alot to do of course with proper supercharger sizing and more than adequate fueling. And I know we beat on this ALL THE TIME< but TUNING TUNING TUNING makes a Huge difference.

I certainly am not claiming the car is unbeatable of course because there is always someone out there that is faster than you are. In say a 1100 RWHP or less class however, this car is pretty dominant. There are a few 3200 pound corvettes with F1R's that make a little more power than I do that I currently cant beat but that could change LOL

You need some better tires.
1000whp Camaros can easily be set up to have full traction from 60+. Unreal's car makes well over that power and has 100% traction from 40+.
If your "Good Street Tires" can't hook 500whp in 2nd gear, they are complete junk.
Not talking about Cars like unreals. No disrespect talking about Dyno Queens that don't spend or care to spend the money to make use of the power. Guess should have said 1st into 2nd. Yeah it hooks but have already lost 3-4 mph yeah when you are running on minimally/ not prepped Airstrips from a Dig,there is a big difference and 20" Wheels and Street Tires( not DRs) are junk for the most part. Big Reason going to a 17" Setup, some Boost and a Weight reduction plan over the next yr including my fatazz losing 30 lbs

I'm making that power with an RHS 427 with LSX-LS9 6 bolt heads as the foundation under a 2.9 Whipple with meth and NOS...your stock M6 and the set of the drivetrain can't take that power so plan accordingly.
