I run general gmax as-03 in the winter and the winter traction performance is excellent. The newer as-05 is reported to be even better than the as-03 model which I have mounted on stock rims for winter months.

I just put on the Nitto 555 G2's a few weeks ago and have been happy. Good value. Look nice nice. I haven't pushed them performance wise, but they seem to handle better on the street than the factory Pzeros.

I just replaced my tires with brand new Cooper Zeon RS3-S 245/45/20 and they are the best tires I have used on our Camaro yet. Excellent dry and wet road handling plus cornering stability is great too. They are in your price range that you would like to spend.

i second the Conti DWS. My brother runs them in Milwaukee on his Charger. Yeah, I know it's a Dodge but he says it's the best tire he's ever ran for his RWD.
It's what I'm going with when my P-Zero's give up their lives later this season. Probably at Camarofest |

They handle WAY better.. I just put a set on a few weeks ago. Haven't pushed super hard yet but the grip pretty damn good for a "sporting" cruise LOL

Discout Tire as it was easiest for me. The tires themselves were about...750 for the full set, plus install and road hazard. That was about a year ago.
