I had the full dash Ambient lighting and cupholder lighting. SJMAutoprod sells everything you need to do full ambient lighting.

Cool AirZ28 had Showstopper do the install. It connects either to the ABL circuit, or, the dash-lighting circuit (both can be dimmed via the dial on the dash). I'll let him respond to the color question.

Thanks for responding Tony. Showstopper did a excellent job on the install. The color is a perfect match. Looks like it came from the factory that way.
The light dim off the dash dial and auto dim with the dome lights when you close the door

You will love it. This is the way it should have come from the factory.

Be careful because it could be dangerous.....when I first did this mod I couldn't stop staring at the dash.

Should I be seeing this blue line from the doors continue across the pass anger side of the dash and also on the short dash piece on the left of the steering wheel? Those two are not lit up on mine, and the guy at the GM is not sure what is supposed to light up and what is not.

I was wondering the same thing and I think I may go looking the DYI section I saw this on their Implala and I liked it I wish mine carried the lighting across the front.

Does anybody else make these? They seem a little pricey. It is interesting that they charge you extra for the OEM color. And then extra if you have a zl1. It seems like they should be the same price for all just feels kind of shady.

I did it in mine & changed the color to red, it's not hard just a little time consuming.

I have the 2010 GM Shop manual and is shows the Left And Right "Accent Lamp on the instrument panel - exactly where it meets the one on the doors. Further, the manual shows the car is wired. And last, I swear that when I first got my car (New) that I was able to get the entire strip (Door-to-dash-to-door) to come on. However, I can't now.
