Adding a AFR Wideband to the Dashlogic
I am looking to see if anyone that has the Dashlogic has added a wideband to it to read air fuel ratio. I want to install a wideband now but looking for options that I wouldn't need a gauge. Trying to keep my Interior OEM looking.
If anyone has done something like this and or has a wideband of some sort installed on their zl1 I would like to hear about it. Thank you! |

I have 3 aftermarket gauges. Steering column gauge reads fuel pressure. Then I have a dual pod a pillar with boost and wideband air fuel. All gauges are made my autometer.

AFR is read with a wideband sensor which is added.
You just need to determine the conversion from the 5v output of the wideband sensor to AFR and make a simple equation to do so automatically. Then enter this into the dashlogic pin and your good to go. I did this on my last car with an areoforce and it worked great! |

Yes, it is super easy. Just run the 0-5v to one of the inputs on the dash logic, and enter the formula provided by the gauge.

I put it in the rear o2 sensor spot, since my rears are disabled, or just add a bung.
I use an AEM, but NGK, Innovative, etc all work great.

Bought the PLX Wideband setup through Palmer when I purchased the Dashlogic but have not installed it yet.
If the Dashlogic freeze up issues were fixed I would be more motivated, may end up with a separate gauge to work with the sensor. Have not heard from Palmer regarding freeze up fixes for a while, hoping it is still on their radar. It is a great product when working, too bad it isn't consistent. |

Zero issues for the past year. It is just a ZL1 issue, and specific years/etc it seems. I'm sure they will get it working. The vette ones are trouble free, and certain zl1 years/etc. When they update the cars, there is bugs to work out. I'm sure it will be fixed.

Don’t forget if you are adding the wide band after the cat you are going to be off a little. Adding a bung before cats is preferred, PLX Wideband since 06.
