Front license plate removed - Pics before and after

Couldnt stand the front license plate holder any longer. Was driving me nuts and I was worried about it wearing the paint down. There was a lot of black nasty, dirty water behind it being trapped. A DeWalt cordless drill, flathead screwdriver, some paint cleaner and four bumper plugs later, voila. Cost about $3 and will do just fine until I repaint it. Wont be buying bumper plugs, rather just have it done properly later.

Go to the parts house and buy the silver touch up paint that is for your car. If that was mine it would drive me crazy looking at those black holes until I at least got them to blend in.

Dealers should never put the front plate bracket on cars unless the customer requests it. In states that require a front plate they should just put it in the trunk...especially on cars like this.

Couldn't agree with you more. Fortunately for me, the two dealers I bought my Camaros from felt the same way and did not automatically install the front bracket.

I had a body shop quote me 250 to repair and paint if I ever decide to remove mine.

Those actually are not black holes. I got some bumper plugs with smooth round tops from a local parts store and plugged the holes for the time being. I bit the bullet and got some Silver Ice Metallic painted bumper plugs b/c I cant pay for a whole repaint right now. Should clean it up as much as possible until it can be done right.

I see a SWEET place to mount a nitrous purge kit. Aim 4 of them straight up. Kind of like a bull snorting.
