Ford will most likely take the sales lead this year, but once the 2016 Camaro hits the streets we'll see how things really look. If the car is as good as we expect it's gonna be another battle. Good times for all performance car fans.

The answer is yes, I would take the new mustang over the current camaro. The 2016 Camaro will likely be so much better though that I would get that instead of the mustang.

I'll say it again... Camaro won't catch up to Mustang. This slow '16 reveal is only hurting sales.
I was in Cali a few weeks ago and there lots of new Mustang convertibles... I'm guessing lots of them were rentals. |

I'm worried that the 6th Gen styling is going to be so similar to the 5th Gen that we are not going to see the sales spike ANYTHING like Ford saw with the S550 Mustang.
I know a lot of people on here are thinking the same so if this forum is a microcosm of the world, I think the new Camaro (no matter how spectacularly it may perform) is not going to be the 'lifesaver' sales-wise we want it to be. I hope I am wrong!

A quote from around this time last year. I even asked if you were willing to bet. Good thing you didn't.
