Injectors or TB

I'm planning on some mods, but I under a budget like everyone else. I'm planning on CAI, LT headers, Cat delete, Tstat, and lower pulley (28%). My question is injectors seem to be pretty expensive, would I get more Hp for my buck with a ported TB? or am I at the limit of the stock injectors?

10.0 lower (28%) requires injectors. Get ID 850s. They are expensive but dial in very easy and your tuner will be happy with the choice. Add a ported TB too...why not?

what if I did a 9.17 pulley, would that require injectors?

If on a budget then go with injectors. You'll have room to play with power later and save money in the long run. I'd leave TB for the LS1 guys.

Between the two I would get the ported TB. They don't pick up a lot of power but they definitely increase the throttle response which makes it more fun to drive. As for injectors the FIC are good and are just as easy to tune as the ID's.

9.17 is ok with stock injectors in most cars. My A6 was barely ok with a 9.55 lower.

at that percentage over you will have to have injectors. ported TB is cheap do it anyway or buy a $129 LS7 90mm TB.

You'll NEED injectors with the 28% damper. You'll have to bite the bullet anyway, so I suggest going with the injectors and it will support future mods.

Best regards,

I did a 2.55 upper and a cold air kit and I'm out of injector at about 6000 Rpms. My next mods are injectors, headers and a lower pulley.
