speaker Wire question
On a 2010 Camaro, which speaker wire is negative and positive?
My wires are Grey and Tan. Replacing speakers, but I don't know which is which because I don't have a volt meter to check. Please help, thanks. |

most speakers have a + and a - (or one or the other) on the speaker. look at what your stock one have.....and as long as all the of the speakers are installed the same, they will all have the same polarity and you will be good. IF you get the polarity mix matched from one to the other, they sound from one side to the other, they cancel each other out.

Assuming the speaker you're looking at is the driver front door. The Tan wire is Positive & the gray wire is Negative.
For the rest of the speakers, just remember Terminal 1 is Negative. Terminal 2 is obviously Positive. |

Cool, thanks guys that helps a lot. What about the rear speakers? they have four wires. Clearly I know I'm only going to use two, but I'm not sure which ones.
