How long did these take to cure up? Did you do all four at the same time/car up in the air with no tires on?

Looks great!

I did all four at the same time, just put the car on jack stands. After 24 hours they were good to go. I put the stickers on and clear coated them and then waited another 3 hours before I put the wheels back on. Didn't dive it until the next day though.

Yup I had the car on jack stands and did one at a time going around the car, left about 20 minutes between coats with 4 coats total. Put the wheels back on a hour after last coat and then let car sit for 24 hours to cure.

Hey guys,
I just found this thread and wanted to say great work. Definitely adds great contrast to the wheels! I have been kicking around the idea of doing this myself. Problem is I drive the imperial blue and not sure what color I would go with. I have heard that the blue paint from G2 is hit or miss and I don't think I would want to paint them blue if it's not a perfect match. Any thoughts on gold?

Glossy white would look good with your set up as well

Gold might look good but would need some matching accents IMO, maybe white like Elvis said or silver?

Hey all. New brake discs and pads delivered today, and the paint kit from g2 should be here soon, going to do them all at once.

I've ordered the brembo decals- wondering what kind of clear is best for this? Gonna be doing red calipers, and looking at the hi-temp vht clear, but not sure if there is a better alternative. Any thoughts?

any kind of high temp clear would work, although my decals are fine still and its been a long while since I did this.

Curious I am using G2 kit next weekend. I watched some videos on how to do it. Did you guys paint the back side of the calipet or leave it alone. I was planning on painting back side but not sure now.

You dont have to the do the back side. Since I used brush I sorta of did part of the back side but not fully.

Mine have not faded or chipped in over a year from painting them with G2

I did as much of the back as possible but mostly concentrated on the front. Did 3 coats. G2 is easy to use and looks great. I did the red as well.
