So many exaggerated SS MPG club members on camaro5.
You can't get 30 MPG highway on a 5th gen SS, You just can't !

30 MPG is totally possible. Would anyone actually DO it? Probably not, you'd go insane.. I've seen 26.7 out of two different Camaro SS's on one particular drive that I make.. another 3.3 mpg would not be difficult but everyone stacked up behind me in traffic would want to murder me. I owned a couple of TDI Jettas and the "hypermilers" were insane. There were clubs for people who got 800, 900, and 1000 miles from one tank of gas. YMMV... (see what I did there?) |

The best mpg I ever got on my L99 was last summer on a 350 mile trip.70-75 mph 26.6 But that was before the tune and AFM on.

Ok. I can. Do I try to every time I drive the car? Hell no. When I said doing it for kicks, I was meaning actually trying, on a mission.
