Yep that will work and you will definitely be able to tell the difference after you get it done! your car looks hauntingly similar to mine when i first got it! course I still have my dings cause you would be hard pressed to find them and it's a DD not a show car

Congrats! I plan on moving up to an SS sometime in the future. Just bought the V6 so it'll be a while, but loving the V6 nonetheless. Enjoy your new ride!

Congrats!

Let the modding begin.

While it's at the dealership, tell them to take their advertisement off the back. No need for that and let them do it so they get everything off....including the left over sticky it will leave.

Now the next thing is what to do to it? Fuse pull? Whats that?[/QUOTE]
The fuse pull basically resets your fuel map from the low octane to the high octane table. Your car is probably like most Camaros in that it is on the low table from the dealer, since most of them start out putting cheap 87 in them. Before you pull the fuses, you must be sure that there is no low octane fuel left in your car.

A good way to do this is to run it down close to empty, then fill it with 93, run that down close to empty, then fill it again. This should be adequate to ensure that your car has only high octane throughout.

Open your hood. Open the fuse box. Remove the fuse pulling tool inside. Use it to pull fuses #5 and #20. Let the car sit for quite some time, (I let mine sit overnight just to be sure). Put the fuses back in. Start the car. Drive, and HOLD ON!!!!

Telling a 20 year old, that has never had a V8 before to turn the nannies off?
That does not sound wise.
