The turbo was too small for the car and was always making boost (which was no fun while sitting in traffic) and would choke over 5,000rpm. Trifecta refused to work on anymore RX projects so I had no way of fixing the tune and Vince locked the ECM, which is why I had to buy a new one.

God that sucks, but hey if it's good to have the car back then that's great.

I build the same amount of boost in all gears and others with a SC or Turbo kit can tell you that a properly operating kit does also.

What it seems like you have is a bad wastegate or need more time tuning the car. Which is causing you to have what is called "boost creeping". Which isn't good for the turbo. Just some FYI...

Wastegate has been checked out, no issues there. Many people have been telling me to make the exhaust go to the turbo side. Tracy, matt, and a couple other people with some rear mounts them selfs (350z and wrx owners). My side wall charge pipe is also crushed in a bit and my turbo air filter is black haven't replaced it in about 2 years( ll ready ordered a new one). Other than moving the turbo to the front I think what I mentioned above will be my best bet with this remount.

Oh and yea I'm still rich and the timing isn't the best in my car, wait for hp tuners to be 100%

Man that stinks well at least it's drivable now. Wouldn't upgrading the turbo fix the choking issue?

So over 5,000rpm would it just stop pulling all the way to 7000rpm? What rpm did you start seeing boost?

This is my biggest fear with the ips tt kit, it makes tons of power so quick I wonder how it is above 5,000rpm. Maybe hp Turbine can chime in, I remember the other guy with the ips kit saying something about it lagging at the top end but was ok with it since you really don't have to go wot all the time.. but say at the dragstrip at wot going through the gears would it pull hard all the way to 7k?

Sorry not trying to thread jack..

and man that is one expensive pile of junk!

Someone should post the roots set up...horrendous amount of piping and t- clamps. Its an abomination...not to mention the dimsport tuning...I mean tuning issues...

Edit: that video the owner got the car back with no gas and slicks for tires...

Was the dimsport tuning on the LLT or LFX? IDK where did you get this info from?
