Some Mustang owners are jerks.

I have been on another popular Mustang forum from for some time when I had my Mustang GT and then I had posted up there that I was looking to purchase another 2012 5.0 after my wreck. Well some time has past since I have been on that board since I bought the Camaro SS so I thought I would visit the page and just give a update to my post and what do I get a few jerks on there saying enjoy my pig and my big yellow whale and a few stupid comments on another post I had on there. This should be a place where we all can learn from each other and share ideas not act like were in grade school like a bunch of kids.

People are jerks everywhere and regardless of what they drive. I try not to post on any forum to often due to this reason alone. If i have a legitmate question that i cant find an answer to i will just send a PM and negate the hassel of starting a thread so people can belittle one another over their oppinion on a matter. I agree with you that forums should be a place to learn from one another but that rarely happens. Camaro5 from what i have seen has been one of the better forums in regards to this.

Not surprised...never will get why owners of other makes/models post on competitor websites. Ultimately it turns into a keyboard brawl more often than not even when the intent was good.

I'm on several boards even four Sportbike forums, this is what I do read learn and get plenty of ideas and tips. I'm not on there to start any drama but just to see whats up.

If you are happy with(whichever car you have)nothing more has to be said!

Drive safe and wear your seat belt.

I see your point and am also a big Mustang fan. I have belonged to several Mustang forums over the years and still do. I can say this... do a search on this forum for Mustang. Got to the post and you will always find some insulting Camaro owner chime in. Maybe I spot it more because I have a love for stangs too where as most people on here don't. That kind of crap goes on in every forum. When I had my Corvettes I was on the Corvetteforum and we always had the same thing with the Viper haters. In fact, go over to Viper Ally... I dont think I have ever seen a more abusive forum. I dont think the monitor anything.

The fact of the mater is... it goes both ways. You have haters here and you have haters there. You just don't need to be one of them when the shoe is on the other foot. Just my 2 cents.

Internet forum boards are not where you go when you're looking for a serious opinion. Case in point, OP.

Sure, you might find some professional help on the internet... but not really.

Enthusiasts are a different matter altogether, though.

It's not just mustang guys that do this. I've seen the very same thing happen in this forum when someone comes on here with a thread stating that they bought a mustang.

A jerk is a jerk no matter what car they drive.
