Unhappy Need some advice.... Hit and run :(

Went inside a local grocery store and came out to find a 6x6 inch dent in the gills on the driver side.
Wondering if I should try to fix myself...

The grill or bumper, if its only the grill there not a lot and your deductible is more in most case's, and we need a pic too.

Unless you are a PDR guy (and if there are no chips in the paint) I don't think you should try fixing it yourself. It most likely will not come out the way you want it to...which is "like" new. Probably better get your insurance involved. All that being said...it sucks people have to do s**t like this to your car that you want to keep nice and they don't give a damn about it and probably hit it on purpose.

That's awful. Take it to the paintless dent guys and see what they say. This will be much cheaper then getting body work done.

I had something simular happen to me only 3 weeks of getting my car... I got video from the store to confirm the person doing the dirty deed but the quality was very bad and it would not have led to a tag number to react to. I sucked it up and paid out of my own pocket for the front fender and and bumper to be repainted. had it done at a GM body shop and it turned out great.
sorry about your luck onthis.. been there too and it really sux, but unless you see the person or have GOOD visual proof its hard to get the person and then you have the aggrivation of turning it in on your policy, depending on the cost of repair vs deductible...

paintless dent repair can work wonders, at least take it to them and see what they can do for you.
