Speedo Stopped Working, sort of...
I was driving down the freeway doing about 75. There was a Mustang a bit a head of me, so I stepped on it a little to catch up. I leveled out about 95. Then my speedo went down to 3 mph. As I slowed down to get off the freeway, doing about 60, speedo said 2 mph. Driving down the street, it bounced between 0-1 mph.
Then all of a sudden, it started working again as I pulled into the Wally World parking lot. Bad connection? What should I look for? |

Hard to say if it was a speed sensor or IPC glitch

Analog or digital or both? Did it keep happening? Have you done a thorough internet search to trouble shoot the issue?

All 3, heads up, digital and analog. I drove it home and it didn't happen again. I haven't driven it since. Just wondered if anybody had any idea where to start. I will start with your links. |
