New Forgestar 17x10 D5 Beadlocks and 18x8 D5
Hey everyone,
Just fitted the new Forgestar Beadlocks 17x10 D5 with 305/45R17 M/T ET Street R and 18x8 D5 with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 235/50R18. Such an amazing transformation both in performance and looks. I dropped approx 20lbs on each wheel/tire! I used GoMobile Tires mobile tire fitting service. It worked out great ... I fitted the rear tires onto the beadlocks, fitted all the TPMS, and had the car up on axle stands with the old rims removed. Then they came to my house, balanced the rears, fitted and balanced the fronts and I refitted them to the car myself. Not only did that mean I could do much of the work myself (I'm hyper-fussy about who touches my car), it saved me having to make a trip to the tire shop in my truck with the new rims and tires, then a trip back in the car to get them fitted, then another trip in my truck to pick up my old rims. I also took the opportunity to replace the rotors with Baer Eradispeed cross drilled and slotted 2-piece rotors and painted the OEM Brembo calipers black with new decals. Getting the car ready for our booth at SEMA 2019! |

Those Look great! First have seen on a 5thGen. Have their Drag Version of their F14s in Matte Black. 17 on the Rear M&H Racemaster 18 on the Front with Nitto Invos. Those Beadlocks weren’t out yet. Had some polished Welds and wanted something different. Always liked the F14 style. Was surprised they were slightly lighter than the Welds. Same Company now right? Enjoy

Thanks! Yes they are part of Weld now I believe ... or vice versa. Great quality ... and VERY light. Plus, I didn't need to change the rear trailing arms with these ... just a couple of heavy duty zip ties to keep the e-brake cable off the inside of the rims. |

Those look great! What back spacing are they? And they will clear stock Brembos with no modifications?

ET is 45mm back, and 15mm on the fronts. Yes, the do clear the Brembos JUST! They are so close, the thin adhesive wheel weights do not clear the calipers ... so you need to move the weights inward. |
