This venue doesn't look nearly large enough for the Camaro5 Fest event...

IMHO Laguna Seca outside Monterrey, CA. trumps all other tracks. The famous corkscrew?

Must have drag racing. Must have CamaroCross...

I get it, I Love the road courses... I recently had mine at Rhoebling Road. But they are way more expensive to rent and require an HPDE group to facilitate.

Drag racing and CamaroCross is included in the track rental, and we, thanks to Justice Pete, are able to run that at the same facility without raising prices and keep the Vendors and car show close... In order for Camaro5 Fest to cover it's costs, we need close to 1000 drivers and spectators and close to 30 sponsors.

That will be hard to do at a pure road course considering the significantly higher costs.

The formula for the fest activities will always be Meet and Greet, Drag Racing, Camaro Cross, Car Show, GM and Sponsor/Vendors. Road course/HPDE will all ways be a "if possible"/"really nice to have"

FWIW.

It wouldn't be much fun if people have to take a 30-minute drive to go see the drag races, and then take another 30-minute drive to come back and see the autocross and vendors.

That kind of logistics simply will not work for the Fest format..

What's the average cost to rent out a drag racing/ autocross track? I know it depends on location. Any idea on how much they rented Indianapolis or the track in Houston?

Question?
If the Fest was in CA how would we deal with all the cars with mods like long tubes and turbos? Will we get checked out/inspected?

way to many variable to guess that...

with all the costs involved.... I'd say it can go north of 40K per day at a top tier track.
