50% sides, and rear. I usually install 30, but didn't want the extra attention from cops. Im glad I didn't go any darker, with the low roof line, its plenty dark from the inside, and looks darker on outside.

However it comes from the factory is what's legal in Iowa per a friend who is a sheriff deputy. Depends where you are on what you can get away with. In 8 years only 1 Highway patrolman had stopped me twice for my tint.

It is all about the discretion of the officer, I dont have any tint because its just a reason for an officer to pull you over even if it is legal or not its just an excuse for a LEO to pull you over

You're lucky. I had a patrolman on a power trip over in mason city tow my car for tint. He also broke down my gun, took all of the ammo out of the magazine and suffer all of the pieces in my luggage before sending me off with some random tow truck driver.

I may remove the tint so I don't have to pay $127.50 every time I see a patrolman or one certain sheriff.

Just ordered my EFI tuner from GPI. Can't wait to get my car tuned correctly this spring and be able to enjoy the ride.
