I was thinking the same thing, I've never heard a V6 sound like a beast.

He came right out at said it's a v6 and he changed the front out to make it look like a SS. And that point there was no point to ask he to pop the hood. Just walk away like I did

again HE CHANGE OUT THE exhaust systems. So what you are saying is you can't make a v6 sound like a beast no matter what you do to it really. How long have you bin around cars

I was working in an account one morning and heard a woman Bragging to all her co-workers one day how she smoked a new Camaro on her way to work in her Hemi Ram pickup. If the guy was nice enough I would have politely told him to just be proud of what he has and that his v6 is a bad arse and no need to fake for an SS. I wouldn't have walked away from the guy lol. Maybe he just didn't know any better. who knows..

lol... there is a huge difference in sound between a v6 and v8 with and without aftermarket exhaust.

i don't care what kind of exhaust he had- it sounds way different than a v8.

how long have you "bin" around cars?

Just like the guys in vettes that you see badge up their cars with Z06 emblems . They have a standard vette and put Z06 emblems on it WTF!!!!
Anyone with any knowledge of the vehicle knows that it's not and IMHO it makes them look DUMB !!!! I had a 2008 coupe and I would have never done such a thing . Also , I am very proud of my Camaro V6 . I am really enjoying this car . I would never put SS badges on it .

I'm with you Matt. I've BEENaround cars my whole life and never heard a V6 sound remotely close to a V8. Now I have heard 4 banger come close to 6'ers but never a V8.

Speaking of Bin there is a documentary coming on the National Geographic Cannel sunday at 9 on Bin Laden. Should be pretty neat to watch. No it's not the same one that aired weeks after his capture (or so the goverment says that's when)

Fake badging is just dumb, and anyone that does it is a complete idiot. They are knowingly lying about what their car is. I can't stand that. I would have probably actually told him he's an idiot for re-badging and then walked away.
