Last night I was at a cruise spot that some members of the club like to hang at. As we are hanging out talking about what ever this black camaro pulls in the parking lot and it sounded just mean we were like wow this car is a beast. So as it pulls up to us I see it has the ls rims on it no big deal as it looks and sounded mean. So we walk over there to check it out the guy change out the front grills to make it look like a SS. And yes it had the SS badges on it I just had to walk away nice guy but why would anyone do that. I think he would got away with it if he had diffrent rims on it and never open the door to see in side. Have any off you guys seen this before. And what are your thoughts on it.

Sounds like some immature kid. Thats like somebody in the 60 or 70s putting a 396 badge on his 327 car. Probaby would not have happened back then. Back then you excepted what you brung, whether it be a big block or small block. People today always have to be fronting to make it through life.

You can make v6s sound pretty damn awesome. Mine does! but i also hate it when ppl try to trick us into thinking its something else. Be proud of it! Its a frickin camaro! Its awesome no matter what engine is in it, or whatever trim level it is!

I have an idea, I'll remove my SS emblems and put on V6 emblems like being in disguise. Think of like a wolve in sheep's clothing, lol.

I guess I could understand making an SS look like an Lt, but this way doesn't make sense at all. I have a friend with a Nissan 5.7 who really thinks his truck will beat my Camaro...I don't street race, but it sure gets tempting to give him about 10 car lengths and show him what a Chevy is made of.

And if they can't tell the difference between what a V6 sounds like versus a V8, then that's their own fault.
