And for no apparent reason, either.

They didn't announce 2017 changes officially, there weren't any hot new incentives, supply didn't suddenly increase..

It just...jumped.

Not good news for Chevy. Hope this turns around. The vert and 4 cylinder should help.

I mean, there was still a month-over-month increase, its not *bad* theyre just still selling to the top 10-15% with pumping out SS, and then maybe the next 20-25% with the 2LT RS V6, once the lower end of the price spectrum gets rounded out, itll look a lot different. Lots of people probably holding out for the T4.

[But I wont complain about a price drop for MY 17 XD]

I was expecting similar to Jan or maybe even worse. February is just an odd month.

Think they need to improve the paint a lot, and fix the finish, that's where they need to start, then coming out with all the parts you cant get as there not out will help some.

then add all the models we know are in testing and you will see a big sales spike.

Yeah, because you know Ford is done making special models on the 6thGen platform.

What does that have to do with increasing 6th Generation Camaro sales?

He was talking about bumping up Camaro sales closer to Mustang

WOW...I wasn't expecting a sales spike last month, but didn't think we'd see a decline.

With the combination of 2015s still being on dealer lots, plus the 6th gen. I was expecting at least 7K in sales last month.

Mustang selling close to 10,000 cars last month is insane.

Does anybody know how many Mustangs went to rental fleets ?

It would be nice to know what the split is between 5th gen and 6th gen sales.

Nothing. I read his point to be that packages/trims of Camaro that are testing but not yet available (1LE, ZL1, Z/28, Berlinetta, etc) will drive additional sales. Which could be true, but with Ford also having future packages/trims in the works, it's unlikely the gap in sales will close.

Month over Month Camaro increased sales

Year over Year it was a decrease

More than a few dealers are still refusing to budge off MSRP on 5th Gen's

Most dealers are ordering loaded 2LT/2SS's or at the minimum "base" 2LT and 2SS cars

There's more to it...but it's a pretty diverse stew that is leading to less than stellar Camaro sales.
