Trailering the camaro?

I have searched and read alot before asking another Question. Seen some say they don't use tire straps Some do.I can't get a strap under the belly pan and not messing up the front clip.
I want to know if anyone had issues with strapping the tires down?
Seen there is a slot on rear control arms also.
Is that the best to tie down aswell
Thanks

Haven't messed with it myself, but food for thought. If you just tie wheels, suspension travel is still in play. So the car bounces. Obviously tying to frame, you can cinch it down to avoid that.

I’ve trailered mine twice in an enclosed trailer. My buddy used the fancy ones that go up and over the tire and lock in tracks in the floor. No issues.

What I was thinking too.But just driving it causes more abuse pot holes etc, I was thinking.
Just confused about that.If it was a concern.

ZL1 Addons strap points and Mac straps. Pricey but my Z/28 is worth it.

I have pulled mine in my enclosed trailer quite a few times with no issues. The longest I have traveled with it was about 4.5 hours (about 300 miles) to Camaro Fest.

I use the straps that go around the wheel spoke and then a 4ton ratchet strap on each end to tie it to the trailer. Never had an issue with any wheel damage or the trailer bouncing. I am careful about the orientation of the ratchet strap so it does not try to chew up the chin spoiler. My trailer was made in 1997 so it has seen it's better days and I usually tow at around 70 mph or so. I've trailered it dozens of times including taking it to Sebring, Homestead and Bowling Green. I do not treat the car like a goddess, despite what my wife says. I have to keep costs down as I have a few different toys and they suck up a good bit of time and money. Hope that helps.

We used wheel straps when we brought her home from NY to MI…worked fine, required some 2x10’s tho to make clearance to get on and keep splitter safe.

I use these when trailering mine. There are slots in the front subframe and rear body/frame for these to fit in. They work well and I haven't had any issues with the straps touching anything including the splitter.
