Here you go... Red is positive and the silver in the middle of the image is the negative post.

Nope - at least not for the GM cartek charger. Has to be done with cables under the hood.

Yes, as long as the plug is hot with car off, it will work. Here is a link for just one type of pigtail for your battery tender. (This one is for C-Teck)

It would have been a whole lot easier if it plugged in the trunk like my Z06.

CTEK 56-304-1 Comfort Connect Extension Cable, 8.2 Feet

CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger
CTEK always the best answer. Run the extension out to your grill, and with a glance you can see the state of your battery (not sure if those ones up there have the monitor on the end with the LEDs but they make them.)

CTEK is OEM battery chargers supplied with Porsche's, Konigsegg's, Corvette's, etc. Top grade stuff.

I bought a panel mount one for my 18 ZL1, have it hardwired to the battery in the trunk, ran the wires through the inside of the trunk paneling and have the panel mount sae connector mounted to my rear bumper right next to my license plate light. So all I have to do is plug it in, no popping trunk or hood, and you cannot notice it unless you look up at the plate. It’s clean and easy, took a couple hours to do it but worth it in the long run. I’m gonna do it to the rest of the fleet I think over the winter

Battery Tender

Mine is hooked up to the posts under the hood. On the 2020 there are 2 small holes in the shield under the front just below the fuse box. I fished the wire up from the forward hole. Tender is outside the car and the hood is closed.

I've used the Battery Tender brand on my motorcycles for years. What brand and model tender are you guys using?

Make sure you get a real tender so when it's topped of is stops sending voltage to the battery, I have seen tenders cook the water out of a battery stored over the winter, Shumacher makes a good tender

These get good ratings. I have the NOCO G7200 which tops most reviews. I'll have to peruse youtube to see if there are any teardowns of the ctek units for comparison.

NOCO Genius + 10’ cord extension. Charger mounted and plugged in at ceiling above car. Attach and detach extension to charge under hood. Good quality.
