Thanks for the help everyone! I'm going to see what the shop says needs to be done and post it on here and go from there. Can't wait to drive her again!

Most shops when they do an oil change they will do a one over for free. I would try to have them get the gas out as well.

have them check the age of your tires over 5 years you need to be wary.

I still have the original tires in my ride. I give them a quick check before I drive it. Which with only 7300 miles obviously isn't very often.

This is very important. Had a friend that took out his Camaro and did just about everything on the to do list and had a blow out(after filling the air to proper specs). Later, they found a crack in the that that blew. Good news is no one was hurt and the Camaro is still running(2013). Tires that sit for a long time can be dangerous, we are at their mercy

My RF tire on my '71 Cutlass exploded just sitting in the garage. Only 4K miles BUT they're 17 years old.

You really don't need a tow unless, when you start the car, it skips horribly.

You will be OK with just an oil change unless the gas has gone bad and causes roughness.

For the sake of safety, you should get some new tires soon.

You’re not going to be able to patch that one.

I heard back from the shop and here is the list of things that they say need to be done. Seems pretty straight forward. The $850 charge to replace the ac condenser is still up in the air. They are going to replace the valve and then recheck the ac but they’re 75% sure they’ll have to replace the condenser.

So I guess it could be worse? This doesn’t include the tires...I’m told they’re good enough to pass inspection but need to be replaced soon. (I know there’s a better way to attach the estimate but technology is giving me trouble so hopefully you guys can read it).

A lot of shops won't warranty AC and compressor work unless the condenser is also replaced. AC work is always expensive unfortunately. Which is why I do my own.

Nice ABM!!!
I wouldn’t pay that much for what they are saying needs done personally. But then again I do everything on my own. The fluid changes are all pretty simple to do including the brakes and power steering. If you’ve got money to throw at it then I suppose it’s easier to pay someone else to worry about it but if you’d rather save a bunch of money, an hour on YouTube and you could easily learn how to do these basic maintenance jobs. The fuel system is one thing I’d probably farm out if I were in your shoes as stuck fuel injectors can wash the oil down in no time and cause permanent damage quickly if left unchecked. The ac is another one that if you don’t have the proper gauges/tools when refilling/topping off, things can go south quickly so I can see that as well. You could always change the condenser yourself and have it recharged and save a bunch there. Antifreeze, brakes, power steering, engine oil etc. are all pretty straight forward and relatively simple to do.
I’m glad your getting your ABM up and running again, I’m sure you’ve missed driving it quite a bit. I can’t seem to go any more than a week without driving mine. Good luck however you decide to go about things!

Funny, replacing ac condenser (most likely leaking) !!!!!!
850$

That is an expensive "Most likely" ... ask the shop to pressure test the condenser and charge you 20$ for it while they are working on the car instead of guessing its leaking.

seriously!!

Oh yeah, that’s definitely what they’re doing. They’re replacing the ac valve and then rechecking it first.
