Too Cold!!

Oh no!

Looks like yesterday may have been the last day of the "season" for top down motoring.

Now I'm depressed.

Loooong time 'til spring.

I've driven with top down all the way to 36 degrees. Heated seats rock. And all I wore was a hoody and a t shirt and jeans. 75 on highway. Doesn't get much colder than that in SoCal so.....

This^^^. Heated seats, heater on, windows and wind diffuser up and a hoodie.
The top will not go down at or below 32 degrees F.

Man, 36 degrees in Cal must be warmer than in Mi.

Yeah, 60 is about the limit. Earlier this week, had the top down, sun dropped over the horizon. 53 degrees, no sun, top went up. My shaved head and hands get too cold. Could wear a hat and gloves but that's just silly, to me anyway.

I live at 2200'ASL. I am only a couple of miles from Angeles crest highway that can take you into beautiful forest areas and nearly 8000'ASL in about 45 minutes. The temperature in the summer in the shade can be in the low 40's. Only 30-40 minutes from the ocean and it can get damp and in the 40's, but it is still a nice drive with the top down. The wind diffuser makes a huge difference with the windows up. The worst days for top down weather is during the day when it is 90-100 degrees out here. Ask other California vert drivers, we have a wide range of temps and diverse geography. Driving top down all the time unless it's raining, which doesn't happen enough here.

it is as we don't typically have any type of wind chill factor to deal with..

36° in SoCal and the sun is usually shining....

Ddoug. guess you could get a hair piece and put it on when you drive cold temps with your vert. lol lol

SS panther. does your wind diffuser have lights? i saw on line for about $375 a camaro wind diffuser that lites up. i dont have one but may get one next spring since i just bought this new camaro 2 weeks ago. i am waiting on chrome fog lite bezels. and with me adding heritage grill and rubber mats, i have to wait till next year to buy a wind diffuser. but, once its below 55 or 60, just seems like it would get chilly

Kevin, I have the factory GM wind diffuser, which is not lighted. I like it and would not be without one.

It's most certainly a regional issue, I've just recently been able to drop the top all the time where I live north of Dallas, Texas. unless it's night time, the top is up during the summer months here...

I usually put the vert away when it approaches freezing, ie <40 degrees... not because it's too cold for me, I ride a motorcycle daily including when below freezing, but because of the P-Zero tires riding like crap.
