Going to swap my rear 6 x 9's - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So my rear deck rattles. Bad.

I'm not sure where exactly its coming from, and since I want to do this just once, I plan to get to the rear deck, line the sheetmetal with DYNAMAT and install these in place of the factory speakers

Can I expect these speakers to be plug and play, or will I have to cut and splice the wires? Totally new to car audio at this point.

My car's is the BA system.

Also wondering if the MDF adaptors will last in the sun below the rear glass.

I have installed these adapters a year ago and havnt had any problem also be prepared for a few hrs work getting every thing out
It took me 4 hrs from start to finish

I've read the DIY on the panel work so I know what to expect to that end, but what did you do to replace the speakers? Asking because I don't want to take the car apart and leave it in pieces because I was supposed to order a harness or something
