For Those of You That Have Been Victims of Vandalsim.

Over the span of 13 years, we have had to replace two back windows on the wife's SUV(2 different SUV's), a windshield, a window in the front of the house, and have suffered through numerous eggings. We've had a security system in place that was capturing the vandalism taking place, but unfortunately the footage wasn't providing the authorities with anything that they could use to find those responsible. Footage showed two cars involved. Finally invested in a camera that is able to capture license plates and provided the authorities with two license plates. Total of 6 teenagers were caught and charged with class c misdemeanor for criminal mischief.

These two clips show the two cars that were involved. They came by on a Sunday night and again the following night. Gave the authorities the footage and the plates. They had them all charged by Thursday.

Looks like the little vermin missed his shot in the second video. Throws like a girly man. Couldn't clearly make out whether he hit his mark in the first one. Seems like a case of adolescent anti Camaro rage unless you think there is something else to it. The video you shot that captured their plates must have been different from these two. Anyway, an excellent reason to keep cars in an enclosed garage if possible.

They targeted others on the same street. Sometimes they hit the neighbor to my right. Other times they hit the neighbor to my left. We seemed to be the one constant target. Turns out the kid driving the first car lived just around the corner about a block away. Same with a couple of the others involved.

They hit the car in the first video and missed in the second. There was a 16 year old female involved. That might've been the one that threw like a girly man. The camera that captured the plates is indeed a different camera altogether.

The incident where the plates were captured only involved the egging. They wouldn't charge them with any of other incidents involving the windows. They could only charge them with what they could prove.

Trying to figure out why kids would even want to do something like this..

Don't they have videogames to play or do whatever kids do to have fun instead?

Sheesh!

doesn't matter anyways. Mommy and Daddy will higher a good lawyer and before it's over not only will they get no punishment, you may end up getting sued for emotional damage for posting the video online.

In the state of TX, it is legal to protect your personal property against criminal mischief between dusk and dawn with lethal force.

While this statement is true, it is not as cut and dry as it sounds. You still have to prove that you had no other option. Although it was not me personally that did it, I am speaking from experience in dealing with such an instance for 2 separate situations.
