No reason the Gen6 convertible won't work the same way.

You don't buy a convertible if you need huge trunk space.
Agreed, throw the extra junk in the unusable back seat and call it a day.

Nope, it's a pony car. Start the flaming but the Camaro Is not a muscle car. Simply because it's our only high powered alternative does not make it a muscle car.

It's both Pony car by shape. Muscle car by definition. Quite simple!!! It will be in the dictionary and any calendar with other muscle cars. Long live the camaro--muscle car!

Sculpted Exterior Reflects 2016 Camaro's New Athleticism (April 30 Update)

The profile looks fast and the side glass looks bigger which is fine for me. The bonnet, sorry "Hood", is a work of art.

I think the single most important question left to answer is...

Will there be a rear window wiper. Huge fail if there's no wiper.

It does look sleeker, it will be interesting to see how it all looks when it is finally revealed.

But by definition a muscle car is a plebeian mid size car with the addition of a high HP engine.

The Camaro by its most basic definition (pony car) already has sporty and performance in its design. It was designed as a performance car.

Muscle cars are like Chevelle and Malibu or LeMans. Nothing sporty in them until you add a high HP engine.

Camaro gets lumped in for lack of a better word, laziness. It's a cool car and they add it to the calendar to make the calendar better.

GM does not currently offer a muscle car.

I was watching a video today about a 1970 Hemi Cuda and they called it both a pony car and a muscle car. I don't think it really matters.

TV shows, calendars, books, magazines, Wikipedia, Webster, society at large!!--yeah, camaro is a muscle car. But I'm not one to argue forever, especially when my first post sums it up already. And in the end, you're right, doesn't matter, or shouldn't matter anyway!

I sure hope there won't be. And since the Vette doesn't have one, and weight savings even more importantly. I would start preparing for disappointment now.

Also when I hear the term muscle car, I think of a full frame car !!

looks like the rear roof line flows a lot into the trunk lid a lot smoother than the 5th gen does.
