The aluminum upper bearing for the front coil over allows more negative camber I was sitting-2.5 before backing it away for a -1 camber setting

I had the metal bearings on my front Ridetechs. They had the maximum negative camber and the 295's on 10" wheels still rubbed. No problems with stock 8" or previous Forgelines that were 9.5". I don't think the offsets on the 10" are wrong, if they were offset any more to the outside the tires would hit the fender without a spacer. I believe my offsets are the same as the ZL1 wheels.

With a 275/40/20 on a 9.5" wheel I am maxed out at about -1.4 degrees camber in the fronts. Would need to run spacers to get any more. There is some room between the sidewall and fender.

Ridetech machined me a new plate for the sway bar mount on the shock so I can run my BMR endlinks to see if it is the connection between my bmr sway and the ridethech endlink. Now just need to get something that works from BMR as far as a shorter shaft for their endlink so it will fit. Will report back when that is all done.

The people at RideTech are first class as is their product. They will get the noise issue sorted for all of you.

If you need more clearance to get the negative camber you desire you can use JPSS Camber or SAI Plates. Our Camber Plates have 2 full degrees of negative camber adjustment. Our SAI plates deliver a gain of -2.5 degrees of camber. Both are bolt and go upper mounts for RideTech uses that need more camber or clearance.

For those that take it to the extreme we have Z/28 Lowering SAI Weld in Plates. Minumum Negative Camber with adjustment maxed out in the knuckle is -2.50

looks like the BMR ELK010 made for the mustang will be a direct bolt on to replace the ridetech endlinks if anyone is interested. You would need to get a new mounting bracket for the strut from Ridetech. I ordered a set and will put them on when they get here and let you know if it helps with endlink noise in the front.

good stuff I am starting to research my spring purchase of wheels I was hoping to run the 10 and 11" mmr 228 z28 replicas but might have to look at the 9.5 front options out there.
Those 275's Mike would be lots better for sure from the stock setup I wonder if the rim 10" would work with them

Update

BMR endlinks ELK010 (for a mustang) worked beautifully as a direct replacement for the ridetech endlinks. All noise from the front swaybar is now gone!

Glad the shorter endlink and new machined plate worked for you. RideTech's customer service is by far the best I've ever dealt with!

I think one thing that could solve the noisy endlink issue would be a small bushing that would fill the 1mm gap around the 10mm bolt that goes through the 12mm sway bar hole. It would probably be the quickest and easiest solution IMO.

I didn't mean to give all credit to RideTech. I was just mentioning that in my experience with them and my endlink issues, they were fantastic. BMR has some awesome customer support too. I'm just glad there are so many companies with great people behind them for our cars!
