Two versions of same Michelin Pilot SS size?

There are apparently two versions available of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in the size 295/35ZR20 on the Tire Rack site:

(101Y) SL Ferrari @ $419.00

(105Y) XL Ferrari @ $399.00

The weight of the former is 31 lbs. and the tread width is 11.6. The weight of the latter is 30 lbs. and the tread width is 12. Otherwise, the specs are identical.

Why the difference and which is the better choice for mounting on a a HRE Flowform 20 x 10.5 wheel on the rear of a new Camaro?

The load rating is different, go with the higher one.
