Brake duct questions '14/'15 1LE with CAI scoop
Need some ideas for brake ducting on a '15 1LE.
I have headers and CAI brand cai, and a Jannetty air scoop. Anyone have any suggestions for brake ducts that would work with the air scoop also being there? I have fog lights and am keeping them. Are the Z28 ducts worth it? Or better to stick with something aftermarket like quantum ducts and hose going to naca ducts. The air scoop on the driver's side going to the CAI throws a wrench in that side. Maybe naca ducts going to a different spot in the lower grille? Or naca duct off the air scoop? Thanks for any ideas! |

I went with the Quantum brake ducts as you'll get more airflow concentrated to the rotors where the heat is built up. I also have the racing scoop to work in conjunction with my CAI.
As you can see, I used NACA ducts that I riveted to the front crash bumper.

Re-purpose the unwanted under car air to cool your brakes. NACA ducts in the bottom of your front fascia to feed the Quantum knuckle mounted brackets.

3" is the hose and fittings on both ends. This is the JPSS Aero kit. It makes serious downforce for those that track. The rear 'wicker' will pull a factory spoiler off the deck lid without additional support. |
