M&H radial front runners

Anyone using M&H radial front runners? I just picked up a set this past week and it looks like they are not able to hold up 1 of these heavy tanks. They have a decent bulge in them @ 45 psi. That's 10 psi more than there rated for. They are load rated @ 1325lbs per tire. The same as the Bias ply version of this tire. I had the Bias ply tires on my car for the past 3 years and had no issues. I placed a call into M&H today and talked to a guy who has been there 40 years. He didn't have an answer as to why they would not hold up the car. He did say not to put any more air in these tires. Just wondering if any one on here is running these tires with any luck? Thanks

I can’t speak on the the M&H front runners specifically but my MT front runners also have a good bulge in the them. My wife always thinks they look low on air just by how much they bulge out but I keep them at 35psi. I would assume it’s just the nature of having all of that front end weight on a set of tires that are 4.5 inches wide.

I daily drove a set of the MH DOT bias fronts for an entire summer. While not the best handling tire they never had issues.

Yup, that's what I was running and had no issues running the Bias ply. I will be going back to them.

But like you said, there is a sidewall bulge, more than I think there should be.

You just want the lightest combo?

John, I would keep the radials if they didn't look like they were flat.

Every set of skinnies have always had a decent bulge, they just dont have much width the spread the weight over so they bulge more than street tires. Just run whatever max psi the tires says on the side.

They were at 37 in pic. I added more air and look better. Just don’t like going over the max psi so much
