Great deal on Quickjacks @ Costco

Costco has the 5000lb version for $1099, which I believe is about $250 less than anywhere else. I'm seriously considering it, heard lots of good things about them.

I don't hafta spend one lousy penny!

My 30' x 50' barn has an area partitioned inside which is 18' x 30', totally insulated, with a ceiling mounted heater, a/c, fridge, stereo, and a totally cemented in pit that's 3-1/2' wide x 6' deep x 22' long.....no need for any hoist, etc!! Did I mention that it's saved me and my friends tons o' $$$ over the years!!??

So nice! It reminded me of when I worked at jiffy lube. That’s a sweet setup. Oil changes must take five or ten minutes.

Do you experienced mechanically inclined prefer the Quick Jack over this type of design?

Thanx everyone.....just fyi, in the 3rd pic, I'm the one NOT looking at the camera, I have a green shirt on.....
I completely rebuilt the entire front & rear suspension, including removing the differential, etc., on my '79 'Vette you see in a couple of the pics.....the PIT has more than paid for itself (Yes, it was already there when I bought the place!!)

Boy, I dunno, but BOTH of those setups look a bit squirrely to me....I'd want MORE safety reinforcement IF I were to use either one!

That one looks pretty useless to me, the lift is blocking access to just about everything you would want to do under the vehicle other than wheels and brakes. Not only that, it's $400 more and it doesn't look near as safe.

After doing some research I decided to order the Quick Jack from Costco...there is no other retailer that has that product at that price!
