Surviving NEMO

Yeah! My power is back on. Three days with no electricity or heat. Wow, glad that's over and now time to start the clean up. Trees down everywhere and lots of shoveling out. Fortunately the beast was safe and sound in the garage. My hearts goes out to all of those still without power. Got down to 48 degrees inside only because of my gas fireplace. I really can't complain, we all survived!

Be safe up there. I was at my Mom's in northern Arkansas this past Christmas when they had a winter storm with 14" of snow. That was bad enough!

Glad to hear you're ok up there. We didn't loose power this time. I've lost it for a week in the October storm. I have a wood stove so I can't keep my place pretty warm if needed and a generator. Unbelievable there are still more trees coming down, would have thought most all the weak ones would have fallen in the past storms.

Anyway be safe and stay warm. Get ready for round 2 Wednesday night.

Yeah we got slammed. We didn't lose power, which I thought would happen.
That was one vicious storm.

My power/heat is back on, but still many without in my town. Restaurants, Hotels, all kinds of businesses as well as homes. Still without power going into day five. At least the temps are up a little bit. Temp was at 19 the first nite I had no heat and 21 the next nite. Was like a heat wave the third night, a balmy 30. Hope everyone gets their power back real soon!

I hope all get their power back soon too! CT took a beating for losing power. It sucks not having heat in the cold weather.

I feel for you. We lost power in the January storm for 6 days. My elevation is 2400 feet and I get a lot of snow that many in my area don't. For instance, Morgantown, WV is 30 miles west of me and the elevation os 1000 feet. You didn't evewn need snow tires there and I got over 2 feet.

Blizzards suck, or blow. We even had winds clocked at 80mph, that's hurricane force, so my Canadian Hemlocks just weren't strong enough.

What town in Mass? Joined the NE Camaro club on this site, might do one of the rides/drives, sounds like fun. I'd like to see a bunch of camaro's all at one time. Can't wait for Spring!
